To clarify: 2 concurrent lines. Such as 30 and 31 or 40 and 41.

Barrow is the northermost *US* settlement. There are more northerly settlements in Canada. Canada is that big country to the north of you. We exist.

The two I would check first are ...

1) 40 & 41° North (includes New York City)
2) 34 & 35° North (includes Los Angeles)

NYC and LA are the two largest cities (#1 & #2 respectively) in the USA, but depending on what other population centers the lines of latitude touch, L.A.'s might actually have more people.

NYC's "degree" also touches the southern edge of the Chicago metro area, so my first guess would be 40 & 41.

You can find the entire US population between 19 and 72 degrees north latitude. That includes the southern tip of Hawaii as well as Barrow, Alaska, the northernmost North American mainland settlement; some more northerly islands in Canada are also inhabited.

Between two consecutive lines, I'd suggest 32 and 33, because this gets you San Diego, CA, and Dallas, TX, two of the ten most populous US cities. No other two of those ten coexist within the same degree of latitude.

Dallas is now one of the biggest cities.

If your were looking at longitude, there is much population on the East Coast.
