It is an India-wide exam like our SAT or ACT to test you for college.
The question I have is why these India questions get into this, the US version of YA when they started out in the India version of Yahoo. How do I know the latter; I got frustrated like you and jumped to the India site as soon as the question popped up on the US version, and yes, the question was at the top of the India site also.

AIEEE is the entrence exam for those students who are appearing or appeared in 12th Sci. with Physics,Maths & Chemistry.AIEEE=All India Engineering Entrence Examination. It is taken in April by CBSE. By passing this exam with good rank we can get addmission in deem universities and Other colledges. This is very very VALUABLE EXAM.
