Hey good question, I included a link that shows you diagrams of how to throw different pitches, including the knuckle curve. It is a hard pitch to throw but very effective. It is mainly just a curve ball but you bend your index finger and put your knuckle on the seam. It is thrown just like a curveball. Hope this helps, follow the diagram it works well.

You put your index finger knuckle on the ball and then your middle finger you just leave like your throwing a curve ball. you place your fingers in the same place on the ball and have the same arm action as a curveball. this is how Mike Mussina throws it if you are looking for that.
