I don't think that is legal! As far as I knew, only the HUMAN race could get married, and anyone marrying outside their human race is just plain odd. If you are talking about color, than why ask, as it makes no difference in the person at all. It is like asking if you would marry someone with blond hair if yours was red. As far a culture issues, they are not determined by your color, but your upbringing and environment.

Race is not an issue, but culture is and it usually runs along racial lines. Some cultures, for example, have very strong rules about the male or female roles, while some do not. This difference in expectations in dating and marriage are stark and may cause problems. If you are considering marrying someone from a different race you should understand what their idea of your role in the marriage is. For certain races, there is even a difference between datind and marriage - you might not be expecting things to change.

You said be honest so here we go. I would marry who ever was the right guy. I woul probably not marry a black, indian or Cambodian man because I just have never been attracted to them. They are my friends but I have just never been attracted that way. Daman is Cambodian and we had been real freinds for 8 yrs before I became involved with my husband. His race never entered my mind and still doesn't.
I wouldn't care what my family thought but I will tell you that they were hesitant about my man because his family is very Italian, thank god he isn't. I am Italian on my Mom's side just like him. It has worked out really well.

It would depend on if there was a huge cultural different that I could get past. Like if he was buddist (I'm Christian) or if he had traditions and beliefs that I didn't agree with - then no. If he was a god-fearing, loving man who's family didn't mind our interacial marriage then absolutely. But I also wouldn't want to marry into a family that was completely against our being together. When you marry, you marry into the family as well.

Honestly, I wouldnt. I have nothing against differnt races, religions, or groups. I just don't belive in interacial relationships; Its not for me. I think it is awsome that other people believe in that and follow their heart. If I fell in love with a person I cant say I would walk away because of differnces, but I already fell in love with someone that has the same race and beliefs as me.

When I was younger, say in my 20's, I would of said no. I am now approaching 50, and my attitidue has changed. The primary reason for my change is more experience with life in general and the realization that there ae woman of all races who are fine, beautiful, graceful and sexy.

Very funny. Women are a different race from men in all respects. Just ask any man who is married. I sometimes think my wife is an alien and not even from this planet.

I would definitely marry someone of a different race. I've never dated one, there aren't very many where I live.
If I could pick I would date an Asian guy. Don't ask why, I just find them extremely attractive.

If you had asked me this in the past, I probably would have said no, but I met someone of a different race recently and fell in love...and I can't wait for him to ask me to marry him!
