They are in their 50s. They have to be apart that isn't an option, but how do they move on?

FIFTY IS NOT OLD. They can figure out how to seperate and divorce, split, ect. They will either have to do this calmly together, or get lawyers. In any case this is not for you to get involved in. If they are ready and want this, they will do it and they will figure out how to move on. Every one does and life gets better.

This is none of your business. It is a matter for your parents to discuss and settle between them. IF they want to move on, they will.

Is this your opinion or theirs? Either way this is up to them and they will figure out who gets what and who goes and who stays. You need to stay mutual and stay out of it.
