I do wish he wasn't, but I believe he is....sad as it is. Why didn't he go out the door before he closed it on Desmond? I think he believes it was the only way to save everyone, that he had to meet his destiny....It was his fate. Did you notice, baby Aaron cried the second Charlie died? That was so sad....But a really excellent episode. Can't wait for Feb. 8, 2008......

I don't think so.
Remember the episode where desmond walked up to Charlie on the street and said that he knew him. I think he got out somehow.

i say no as well, partly b/c it comforts me and partly b/c if mikhail (sp?) can live through that weird harpoon thingy w/out dying, i think charlie can swim up or do something else

It makes me so sad. He was so much the heart of hope for the story. But, alas, he is no more. It makes sense given certain patterns of death and acceptance. I just hope Claire finds his ring.

i hope not, he could have swam out thru the porthole, it wasnt that small. maybe he just lost consciousness and he will come back.
