plot is the outline

script is the words to get from point to point

e.g. - Tom wants to show Molly how to get an answer to a question (plot)

script - Hey Molly Tom calls out.
What Tom? she says excitedly.
--Have you seen the Yahoo! Answers page where you can help people with their questions?
Molly replies " You are kidding?"
Tom assures her, "Yep! easy as falling off a log. You can do it!
"You're the best!, Molly exclaims, "Have 10 points!"

A plot.....is what the subject of the play movie or whatever is about. A script has the characters all the words the characters say amongst all the other things.

A plot is the idea, whereas the script is the fully fleshed-out treatment, showing who said what to whom at whenever time

the plot is the story being told it can be intertwined with twists, turns and things that will make you think.

the script is a detailed description of what the perform will be saying and how it should be said along with the surroundings ie "its a beautiful day in..."

THE PLOT IS THE IDEA OR STORY LINE ONE HOPE TO PORTRAY.

SCRIPT IS THE MEANS TO CONVEY THE PLOT. IN OTHER WORDS, DIALOG, TIMES, PLACES, MOVEMENTS AND EMOTIONS TO BE PROJECTED.
