When Jack said "go to my father upstairs", everybody on here agreed that it was either that he was totally wasted and didn't know what he was saying, or that it was a heaven reference.

BUT what my friend just realized is that the precription he wanted to get the drugs with was written by his father!!!!!

So he'll turn up to be alive after all????????

I think that ultimately, it has to do something with time travel, and that the whole time-space continuum is screwed up in that "future" scenario of life we saw with pill-popping Jack and cold Kate.

That would also help the producers explain how Walt grew so much in his month or two away from the island! Hahahaha...

I think there's a lot more going on than we know, but I think Jack's father will turn out to be alive. Everybody reckons Jack is just confused, but have you ever been so out of it you didn't know if your own father was dead or alive??
