Yes I will watch it (as I always do watch these things). I will also force my children to watch it (although they cooperate for the most part LOL). We need a informed public as to how our potential leaders stand on the issues. It is our civic duty and responsibility.
We order some pizzas and make a whole night of the event. We are sick sick people LOL.

I won't be watching live, I will TiVo it. I do hope they are harder on the candidates than they were with some of the democrats the other night.
Before the debate they asked Wolf Blitzer if they will force the candidates to answer the questions if they avoid it, and Blitzer said they would (1)tell them that isn't answering the question, and give them another chance if answer it, if they still didn't they would (2)tell the viewing audience that they are avoiding the question and give them one more chance, followed by skipping them and moving on if they still didn't answer. They didn't do that, especially with the higher profile candidates. When they asked Obama about English as the official language they had no problem with him not answering it and giving a very PC answer of "that question is intended to devide us". But if Mike Gravel gave that answer CNN would've been all over him to answer. I just hope that doesn't happen tonight, treat Mike Huckabee and Rudy Guiliani the same. Do your jobs a mediators, don't treat the top candidates with kid gloves.

Absolutely... I watched the Dems the other night. I'm partisan but I've been watching debates since 1976, and the campaign season is exciting. Elections are like the Olympics every four years, and I love the competitiveness.

I have a better chance of being struck by lightning than watching The Debate. They say there is going to be a storm tonight.

No, I will be at work tonight. I will read about the debate in tomorrows paper. With such a huge field we need to start paying attention so we can begin to narrow down our choices for the primaries.

The intelligent will. It won't be nearly as funny as the demo one though.
