There's another tool you could use called a Hammer Drill. It's not quite as bulky or powerful as a full-blown jack hammer, but it will get the job done for smaller projects like a sidewalk or patio.

One general use tool will do the job, it's called a sledge hammer. 20 lb. would work. Or you can rent a jack hammer, often pneumatic. Or hire a back hoe.

,It's a jack hammer,and it's great exercise,It looks like it's hard to handle but all you have to do is keep it balanced and let your arms guide it and it just chips away with no real work involved.

It's called a jackhammer. You can go to your local tool rental and get one for a few hours. Don't worry, they have them that run on household current.
