Yes, there is a slight chance. A team has come from 3 games behind twice, and those were more improbable comebacks than this would be. Heck, the most stunning comeback in sports history was the Red Sox beating the Yankees in the 2004 ALCS.

Now I'm not saying it is likely or even realistic, but you only need to have something happen once to prove that it's possible. So yes, there is a slight chance. Only a slight chance though.

1) The Senators have to win game five. That is going to be a tough game. The Ducks will be on fire, they will have their crowd behind them, they play on their slushy ice, they get the matchups they want, they get Pronger back. Tough game for Ottawa to win.

2) If the Sens pull off game five I think they win game six, but that will be a tough game for them as well. Anaheim has proven itself to be a better team in this series.

3) Game seven is the toughest part of any comeback. In fact, I think home ice is more important of game 7 in the finals than in any other game of the playoffs. The players are nervous, so they are not going to let the crowd get them so riled up that they take dumb penalties. The home team is better at getting the matchups they want after seeing the home team for six games. The deeper you get into the postseason, the greater chance you have at being a marginally better team than your opponent if you had a better regular season. An underdog that gets to the finals usually has enough fight to make it a series, but a favorite that get there usually has proven that they have a better record for a reason. The result: A lot of game sevens, usually won by the home team. Plus all of that other stuff about slushy ice and stuff.

No team has ever come from 3-1 down when they have home ice advantage in the series. They are 19-0.

But do the Sens have a remote chance? Sure. THere is ALWAYS a remote chance.

Yes there is a possibility because if they win the next 2 and force a game 7 they will be the stanley cup champions but they have to win the rest to get the cup.

There's always a slight chance until the horn sounds at the end of the game that wins the series. But I don't think a Sens comeback is very likely at all. The Ducks are too tough in their own barn to drop two games there, and they've shown they can skate with the Sens at Scotia.

It ain't over till it's over, but come Wednesday night, the fat lady will be warming up.

The Ducks haven't failed to capitalize on a closeout game at home in their last 7 opportunities, so although there's a slight chance, it's pretty much over for the Senators. I just dont see the Ducks loosing the next three games in a row, two of which are at the Honda Center.

Lets see, the last team to come back and win from 3-1 down in the finals was the 1942 Maple Leafs who are also the only team to comeback from 3-0 in the finals to win. Is anybody ready to compare the Senators who have shown through the years thay are more than capable of choking to that team. I think that they have two chances, slim and none, and slim left town last night.

No, the Ducks have this. Give mad props though to the Sens for coming out on top in the East which was a big accomplishment in itself. But the Ducks earned this fair and square and I love that they(and not the Sharks) are the first California team to win a cup.

it will be next to impossible, since 2 games are in Anaheim. i've only seen a team come back from down 3-1 in the finals 1 time in the last 20 years- Flyers/ Oilers, Flyers forced a game 7, only to lose there.

Anaheim is playing really well. the Senators are having a hard time matching up, and with "Last change" at home, Anaheim can continue the match up dominance. i am not a fan of either team, i'd like to see it go 7, but i think the Sens are done.

Ottawa won three in a row against the Pens, Devils, and even the Sabres. So it can be done. Sure the odds aren't in their favour, but in those 3 game winning streaks, they've done it twice with 2 away games and 1 home game, exactly what they have left.

Won't be easy, but don't count the sens out until they lose one more game.

No; the Ducks are simply more superior in every aspect of the game. This year the better team truly will win the cup on Wednesday night.

The Senators can win the next three if they crash the net more often and Neil needs to smash Beauchemin's face in a scrap. Heatley and Spezza need to get off their asses and get to work. Emery you need to stop civing out and let these talentless forwards score easy goals. As for you Redden, Volchenkov, Phillips, Corvo, Preissing, Are you scared of these jackasses? They got to this point by a fluke.

To Senators mgmt, Please Bring Back Chara and Hossa!!!!!!
