I remember reading that Russia does have much oil , but difficulty in retrieving it and processing it .

So who's got a link with the facts ?

Please also see information about the "orange movement" in Ukraine. Know also America is the largest oil producer in the world, but, we have difficulty in retreiving it and processing it.

The real problem is 27 bucks a barrel. That's all an energy company can make in russia. Every dollar made over that amount, is taxed at 70%. Who in their right mind is going to invest billions in extraction, and refining at those rates?

what makes you think that even the Russians have the facts?

their economic system is so mucked up by government interference, could you trust the cost data even if you could get it? [There could well be hidden subsidies which keep costs down so profits can be claimed and taxes assessed. You may have noticed that 'free' Russia has severe problems collecting taxes.]

I think most of it is in Siberia and they have a very long pipeline.
BP is the ones pumping it out.
