is it true that the little girl madiline mcann was home alone whith her twin siblings while her parents were out at a restraunt? just curious as to the facts on this case. i dont watch much tv so i just now found out about it through q&a. any info would be great thanks... i am posting this in p&s because thats where i heard about it and because more people answer in here srry if its the wrong catagory but realy didnt want to post it where no one would answer

Three-year-old Madeleine McCann was abducted from her family's apartment while on holiday in Praia da Luz, Portugal on May 3, 2007 (she has since turned four). Madeleine's parents, Gerry and Kate McCann of Rothley, Leicestershire, England, have set up a Website, Find Madeleine, to collect donations and facilitate the search for her whereabouts. A reward of £2.5 million has been offered for information leading to Madeleine's safe return.
Police have named a suspect, British citizen Robert Murat, though they say there is not enough evidence at present to arrest him. A Russian Web designer associated with Murat has been named as a key witness.

I heard that her and her siblings were left alone while the parents went out to eat dinner - who knows the REAL truth - the media always sensationalise everything..

i think the family was on vacation and the parents went to get some dinner while the kids were asleep. their room was right beside the restaurant and they were constantly checking on them and when they got back the girl was gone. she's been gone for a month now.
