Hello, my hubbies grandad passed away last week, but his funeral is tomorrow.
i really have not been to a funeral in a while so my clothes are mostly to tight that i have worn to previous funerals.

would black smart casual jeans be an ok thing to wear? and a dark green top?

does anyone have clothes that they keep specificly for funerals?

You dont have to wear black, were sensible but casual clothes, then you will feel more comfortable. im sure your hubbies grandad would have wnated someone to stand out. If its you he will be crying from above with joy.

No one wants there funeral to be depressing

Good Luck

Tell you husband I'm Sorry for his loss and yours.

Personally, I wouldn't wear jeans. Even if they are black, they're still jeans.
It's acceptable to wear other dark colors to funerals these days. If you have something dark grey or navy blue, you could wear that.
No, I don't have any clothes that I keep specifically for funerals. I just have a lot of black in my wardrobe.
Sorry for your loss. I will keep your fam in my +prayers+!

I personally would not wear jeans I would opt for smart black trousers and a top of any colour once it is also smart.

I would say that anything dark in colour and reasonably smart would be acceptable.

However, I may specify in my will, that at my funeral, everyone must wear fancy dress.
