i haven't any paid breaks so i think of you're fortunate that yours are paid. each and every state and organisation has diverse rules approximately breaks. some will provide 2 15 minute breaks and one a million/2 hour lunch on an analogous time as some won't provide something in any respect. I worked at a place the place we had an hour lunch ruin unpaid and no breaks. I additionally worked at a place that did no longer provide any breaks (it replaced right into a relatives owned eating place). you will possibly desire to seem into the guidelines concerning your state and your organisation/franchise/union.

it depends on if you are salaried or hourly....if you are not getting a state guaranteed lunch break then you should go to the labor department. I don't get over time no matter what, but i always get a lunch break. If you chose not to take your break then it's your fault...if you are told by your supervisor that you can't have your break then you need to turn them in.
