If superman is stronger than hulk?

and doomsday beat superman, does that mean doomsday is stronger than hulk?

Jezza, the only reason batman whooped superman was because he was wearing a ring made of kryptonite to punch superman with.
Personally I think batman is just a wannabe with no real powers.

First off, Batman is not a wannabe. He is extremely skilled and a genius. Second, the only reason Doomsday was able to defeat Superman, was because Superman was holding back IMMENSELY. No, Hulk cannot defeat Superman. Superman is the superior being. All these Hulk fans don't know their lore. It's already happened before. Look it up. Superman wins easily.

Superman is stronger than the Hulk. This has always been the case.
While the Hulk (and most Marvel characters) measure their strength in the range of 100 tons max, Superman and most ultra-strong DC characters measure their stregnth in the 1000s of tons.
Before Crisis on Infinite Earth, Superman could move a planet. Supergirl could drop-kick the Moon out of orbit. Kryptonians in general were phenominally strong under a yellow sun.

Even after Crisis, Superman was said to able to lift the Great Pyramids (if they wouldn't crumble under their own weight).

Kryptonite may be a vulnerability for Superman true, but that does not help the Hulk, who doesn't have access to Kryptonite.

While there may in fact be no limit to the Hulks strength-to-rage ratio, there is also no definite measure of how quickly his strength increases, and thus he simply may not get strong enough fast enough to pull it off.

Since Superman is so far beyond Hulks strength in the beggining of a fight he seems to be stronger but if the Hulk had the time to level up he may be able to reach Supermans range but Hulk was almost crushed by a mountain Superman can hurl one into orbit,showing that the hulks limit may be his own body and not his strenght the 150billion ton piece of mountain almost destroyed him and it ripped his leggs with that being said Doomsday is stronger than the Hulk but how long will it take for him to get as strong as supes and doomsday and can his body handle it.

If you take each hero at the PEAK of their powers, it's Superman, all the way. 1) He could confuse the Hulk, with millions of super-speed punches, at the VERY least (at most, Hulk would be dead). 2) Hulk needs air to breathe. If Superman were a killer, all he'd have to do is move the Hulk under water or into space until he died. Since Superman's NOT a killer, and the real one will NEVER be, he'll rescue the Hulk before death, and merely move him into the Phantom Zone until he's able to cure him. 3) He could move Hulk to an abandoned planet at super-speed, and leave him there. He could leave Hulk plenty of food and water, and Hulk would be happy there, if the Phantom Zone were unavailable to Superman. 4) Superman could just punch the Hulk really, really hard, and hurt him so much he won't WANT to get back up. I could keep goin', but meh! Hulk fans wouldn't like THAT. :)

I think that the Hulk is likely physically stronger but Superman has other abilities that the Hulk does not have: Heat Vision, Flying, Super Cold Breathe (with that fresh minty smell one hopes). In theory Superman could grab the Hulk fly into Space and leave the Hulk to freeze in the cold.

In theory, superman is stronger than hulk cuz he beat him in the "vs" limited series that came out a while ago where marvel and dc fought each other....but lets face it...superman has been killed...and the hulk cant be killedcuz every time you hit him, it just pisses him off which makes him stronger, how do u kill something like that?!? Exactly, you can't thus Hulk wins....Hulk smash....but it really doesnt matter cuz Thor would smash them BOTH!

I think hulk could bash superman, so long as superman couldnt fly or use his laser eyes.

What about Batman? He gave superman a good bashing in Dark Knight Returns. cant remember if he used kryptonite though.

Yes, so long as doomsday used nothing but pure strength to beat superman. Then logic would dictate that he is.

I would say that Hulk is most definitely stronger than Superman, because unlike the Hulk, Superman has a main weakness: KRYTONITE!!!!!
