ITS a wired mouse with usb/ps2 connectivety-i thought it came shipped with adapter ?

Only sometimes. I have seen USB to PS/2 adapters, like for mice, and sometimes they don't. The box or other information should say on it that it is for "USB or PS/2". Then it would have an adapter.

Most brand name keyboards, mice, etc. come with the adapter.
If not, try The Source / Radio Shack.

Sometimes but i wouldn't risk it if i were u mate. spend £3 ish and buy one so then u ain't going to be worried about it if it doesn't come with one.
