High school was rather a bittersweet experience for me. I get to enjoy it but I also hated it sometimes.
I enjoy the fact that I was a straight-A students and top of my class. I get to be the teacher's pet and therefore, once in a while when I forget to do my homework, I escaped punishment. I also have three very close best friends. We are still best friends until today and keep in touch with each other. These are the three friends I would not trade anything for the world. They were there for me during my lowest point in life and until today still are. I met them during high school and we really enjoyed each other company, which made high school so enjoyable. We had our parties, gossips, shopping together etc etc.
The fact I dislike about high school is the teasing and taunting. Yes, I have been teased and taunted for my size back in high school as I was overweight and pimply. But with my best friends around me, I didn't let it affect me.

I did enjoy high school some while I was there. Mainly because of being able to be with the friends I made. But I also loved skipping school, what an adventure. We had an open campus so we could drive off and not come back, so we did. It was loads of fun, but we almost got caught by parents a few times (not a good thing). Looking back, I kinda miss those days, and those friends. sigh...

I did, and I think it was due to the small size of our school. We only had about 400 students for six grades (the junior high and high school were in the same building), so not only did you know most people, you more or less had to get along with everyone. Not that there weren't problems, but I think the lack of anonymity helped prevent serious ones.
I also had a good group of friends, which is always a plus.

Very much. Oh, those wonderful "times and people" of long ago, will never come back, at least in this life time. This morning, I spoke on phone, to the present staff members of my school, which I attended four decades ago. They really respect their old alumni and kept me abreast of the present times. They have also kept themselves updated with the history of the school - its old members (students and staff) The school welcomes genuine, verifiable, information from their alumni, about olden times. Incidentally, today happens to be the 119th Founder's Day of my school. I have not managed to attend this great function, because I am located very far away. But I made it a point, to wish my school well on telephone, and have also sent some articles for publication in the school magazine (special edition).

I grew up in a small city and severe college events grow to be have been we've been given to dangle out with acquaintances. I even enjoyed college itself lots of the time because of the fact I had some incredibly cool instructors that would desire to incredibly tutor. I pass over the soccer video games (I performed protective end), college dances and the Jazz and Blues band the college had. I performed guitar and slightly bass in it. We lined the large Blues Masters yet we additionally lined blues based rock like the Who and Rolling Stones or perhaps slightly Zeppelin and jazz based rock like Chicago and Blood Sweat and Tears.

I enjoyed my five years in the Comp. I loved learning, so loved the lessons. The teachers were brilliant. I was a pupil-librarian and loved that. I was in the band, orchestra, recorder group and choir. In school concerts, no-one moved around more than I did.
However, they insisted that other kids showed up too, I didn't enjoy that.

I was unpopular because I stood up for the vulnerable.
It taught me to disrespect authority. The staff were autocratic and bigoted.
It gave me a very good pain threshold. Mainly this is due to the amount of pain inflicted on me on a daily basis. I was brutalised and became brutal through it.
I went to a boarding school.
No, I didn't enjoy it.

Well I dropped out the day they were EXPELLING me. I was basically in a fight every day. If you looked at me the wrong way I'd punch ya. Got my GED after my tour overseas. Joined the Marines. So in the simpleist of answers to your question I suppose I did as it helped to make me the person I am today. This being as I had to do something as my dad was thorwing me outta the house after dropping out of school. So the Marines straightened me out REAL quick.
