Turning it off and back on should take care of putting you back in regular mode.
In the future, if you press F8 during start up, it will bring you to a startup menu which you can choose the mode you want to start in.
Sometimes Windows XP will want to start in Safe Mode when you turn it on if it previously crashed or was shut down without going through the shut down routine. Be sure to shut down normally and you should be able to avoid the problem in the future.

ur laptop may have some startup problems or shut down problems. therefore it can automatically put it self to safe mode for you to fix it's problems. to start your computer regularly, you'll have to boot your computer again. there should be an option of starting in safe mode or regular. if however their is no option reboot and press f1 or any key that leads you to the boot menu. then select the boot tab, change the primary boot device to cd or dvd, secondary to your hard drive. then reboot again. this time boot with your cd dvd software if you have one. if not run system recovery. it might be that you put something unsafe on ur computer.
