No kidding and a gallon of Maple Syrup is really out of reach. But then, we consume neither as much as we do gas. So much for cost being based on supply and demand.

Nope.. milk is 3.29 a gallon here. Gas 3.19 at the cheap Arco AM/PM but it will pass milk by summer. (California)
(hightest I have seen is Shell at 3.75 a gallon)
