Most won't make the correlation. To them one is real, the other imaginary.

i'm no longer a Christian, even although i became into raised interior the religion. yet once you will enable me(ha, ha, as in case you may desire to do something), could desire to respond. i stumble on people who threaten me with going to hell, if i don't have self belief as they do, incredibly boring; or at cases, even stressful, or irritating. My perception is that if there quite have been a hell, it may desire to basically be the existence for some, interior the right here and now; no longer afterwards. yet i assume there would not be something worse, than evolving right into a "claustrophobic rat": HORRORS!!!. Yep. They're mad you don't hold the same superstitions they do, but they can't prove you wrong and make you believe. Threats of eternal punishment really is all they have left in those situations.
I promised my wife I would go to church with her this weekend. I'll be nice, but if anyone welcomes me back I won't hesitate to tell them I'm not a believer, I'm just there because I lost a bet.

To Christians, the afterlife is the "a priori" conclusion to this life. Therefore, the fall-back will always end up on Heaven and Hell. To a Christians, the afterlife is far and away the main focus of their behavior and belief in THIS life.

The whole idea of hell is just so monstrous. I wish people would really think about what it would mean. It totally nullifies the concept of a loving god. Even Santa Claus doesn't give you coal forever.

I guess I don't count?
I keep on telling you that such hell doesn't exists. (even giving nice scriptures to back it up) What is this world coming to? No a ppreciation, nor b or c preciation.
Shucks.

Santa is far more rational. He rewards/punishes according to how you act
Good boy = nice presents
Naughty boy = coal
God rewards/punishes according to what you believe regardless of how you act
Good atheist = punished
Bad christian = rewarded

This is a horrible question. Strict Catholic churches say that if we don't do this or if we do that, us christians would burn in hell. I dont tell non-christians that they would burn in hell because it does hurt them and because they may not believe in hell, it seems it wouldn't do them any good because they would only get annoyed. Telling someone they will burn in hell because they don't follow God's way only makes God angry. It makes him angry because He knows by us saying to someone, hello this is christianity and if you dont like it you will burn in hell, only makes that person NOT want to join the religion and therefor we would make those people hate the religion. Who would want to join a religion if someone said "If you dont believe in Christ and that He died for our sins, you're going to hell"? If i was looking for a religion and if i heard that, I wouldnt want to join.

There is no Hell as Lucifer was an Angel of Light.
And Satan Claus will always give you "presents"!

watever christian tells you to burn in Hell - that isn't right at all.
They should be setting a good example by their actions and comforting you...
...well ritenuf sometimes we get mad when non-christians twist what we're sayin..tat really rocks my boat anyway
but how can u live each day knowing you've got no hope if you die, or when God comes back..that's scary.
