unsure why this is happening please help?

well i had a huge scab on my face the doctor said was impertigo anyway its fallen off but had left a bright red mark on my face

leave it alone that is the new skin growing ,impetigo can scar badly so leave it ,sunshine is the best cure for it

It will fade away. I've had the same but have got no lasting marks on my face
