Indra was dressed as a bhikshu not begger. He begged kavach n kundal from karna on the advice of Shiri Krishna. Karna was known as daanvir karna. He give anything which any body begged from him. When Indra came to him in the morning to beg his kavach he knows that as Surya dev already informed him and suggested not to do any puja on that day. But Karna was very strict to his rules so he followed his dincharya and gave his Kavacha and Kundala. With those nobody can beat him. Indra was not against karna but he wanna save arjun and for that he has to ask for kavach and kundala. There was another kashatriya who can beat anybody and that was barbreek grand son of Bhima and Hidimba. He once beated Bhima in mal yudh and he had decided to help the side which loose in the battle of mahabharata.

Karna was Suryadev's son. Therefore the cautoius warning came from him.
Indra was the mean to the end. Death is inevitable and even the best kavach can not help when it is time to cross over. This was the path chosen by Karna at the level of the soul.

Karna is gifted son of suryadev to Kunthi devi.*

Usually Indra is depicted such that he don't like the good things by other. So, whenever he get a chance, he try to do some mischeavous things and here he was backed by Lord Krishna itself.

Indra, king of the gods (Devas) and father of Arjuna, realized that Karna's armour and earrings were impregnable, which in essence made him invincible in battle. During the Pandavas' exile, when eventual war was imminent, Indra took it upon himself to weaken Karna. He decided to approach Karna as a poor brahmin during his mid-day worship. He knew of Karna's moral policy and that he would never refuse any request of a Brahmin or beggar at that time of the day. Surya, Karna's father and god of the Sun, informed Karna in a dream that Indra would disguise himself as a beggar and ask for Karna's armour and earrings as alms. Surya exhorted him not to give away the two, as with them on his body, he was all-powerful. Karna did not know that Surya was his father. As Surya had predicted, a disguised Indra approached Karna and asked for his kavacha (body armour) and kundala (ear-rings) as alms. Karna knew that the armour and ear-rings rendered him practically invulnerabe, but nevertheless gave them away. Indra, struck by Karna's genuine kindness, offered Karna the ability to use Indra's most powerful weapon, the Vasavi shakti, but only once. It is at this point, that the name of 'Karna' is given to him, as he cut away the armour from his body without flinching.

As Indra was the father of Arjuna to save him from Karna Indra asked for Kavach and Kunal. On the other hand Surya was the father of Karna and he advised his sone to be careful and not to give the Kavach and Kundal to Indra.

Some replies: I don't have anything today, sorry. Not doing good myself, maybe next time. I only have enough for myself today. I just gave my change to a guy around the block. Sorry, keep back or you'll catch what I have. My boyfriend is gonna be pulling up and he's rich, ask him. I'm about to go play the lotto. I'm so damn broke. Do you know who I am? Neither do I. Oh my god your breath stinks. Brush your teeth first. Look how happy you are. I wish I was that happy. Nice shirt. Nice pants. Nice shoes. Have a nice day!

One who fight for himself is Duryodhan.
One who fight for other is Karna.(i.e.for Duryodhan )
One who fight for God & sanskriti n Society is Arjuna.Arjuna's
aim behind war was not to become a empiror.

Obviously krishna advise Indradev to beg for Kavach and kundal from Karna.

Before doing this Krishna had a conversation with Karna to avoid this war but he refused to,and whenever Karna is thete it was not possible for Pandava to win the war.
