U.S. President George W. Bush says "Russia is not the enemy" and has nothing to fear from planned U.S. missile defense shield.- C.N.N.

Ironic how Russia provoked the USA with the same scenario with the Cuba crisis. Shouldn't America be equally understanding and not put missles in their backyard?

Seems Dubya made another blunder again without consulting with our allies (Russia) before making such an announcement. Go ahead Dubya keep screwing up our International relations with everyone and we will be totaly isolated from the world.

The problem with neo-conservatives is that you don't realize that have good relations is key to getting things done. With regards to "Dead marxist" you are a typical conservative to quickly assume anything " He did it" just because the guy said so in his death bed. Do you have intelligence that the world doesnt know about?

Who says it was a "blunder"?

Alexander Litvinenko, the former KGB agent who died Thursday in a London hospital, had a toxic radioactive substance in his body, according to British authorities. Doctors had initially thought he had been poisoned by a heavy metal known as thallium.

In a statement dictated from his deathbed, Litvinenko, who became a fierce Kremlin critic, blamed Russian President Vladimir Putin for his death.

It is not the American president's job to comfort the Russians at the expense of the safety of America. Here's hoping we never have a president who thinks that is his job.

and its our "job" to make russia comfortable? isnt that how the cold war started? you liberals need to go back to whining about iraq. few other than the devoted pelosi ites paid attention to you and frankly it was alot more peaceful that way.
