Not a problem at all but I do have a problem with these religious nuts going around putting people down, doing moral tests, making atheism the source for bad things happening, telling us god is going to punish us we're going to hell and so on. Just because they feel it's their job to convert ex-religion people or the many other branches of the religion back into believing god and religion again or for the first time.
Spiritual people on the other hand are peaceful are more in tuned with their god and or religion. They would keep balance of family, friendship, hard work and keep their religion and other things instead of tearing things apart for themselves. How do I know this? I've come across some.

they wont leave their little book out of our government, they use they bible as an excuse for racism and discrimination, the muslims use theirs as an excuse to blow up buildings. too many wars happen over religion beliefs. atheists cant hold public office in 7 different states. We cannot testify in a court unless we lie (which makes no sense). We get discriminated against in the schools, mainly in the south. Atheists are not allowed in the boy scouts. Religion promotes closed mindedness. certain religions will not use medicine, which is frequently what kills them, but more importantly their children suffer because they dont "believe" in medicine.

It depends on the atheist him/herself..
Some do hv problem with relegious people some do not.
It is just like when u say do christians hv a problem with muslims and vice versa... Some do but some do not...
I am relegious and I hv an atheist friend... we are okey as none of us tries to make the other think in the same way they do.
Peace

No Atheist can speak for all other Atheists. The only thing we for sure have in common is that we don't believe in a god. That's it.
Personally, I do have a problem with people having a religion. I see religion as a menace to society, and as a practitioner they are a contributor to a detractor to society.
But like I said, that's just me.

I can't speak for other people, but I kind of do. I have a problem when people try to shove their religion down my throat, or do things in the name of their religion that harm me. I kind of feel sorry for religous people. It would be like if i met someone who was absolutely sure the world was flat. I wouldnt hate them for it, but I'd feel sympathy for their ignorance.

Actually, I do.
The pope gets his authority from the number of people who are catholics.
The televangelists have their influence because of the ratings they get.
Every person who counts themselves a catholic, or contributes to the ratings of the televangelists is partly responsible for the damage these groups cause.
The same can be said for other faiths.
I'm sorry............but if I'm going to be honest about, I think the world would be better with no religion.

All the Atheists that I have met have no problem with people having religion, just as long as you don't pressure your religion on them.

Not all of them. It is easy to belittle belief when matters of faith are meaningless in your existence. However, there are likewise religious people who have a problem with atheists as well.
Living is a little game, give and take.

The problem is religion, not religious people.
Though there certainly are some who are most unpleasant.

Nope...a person can believe in whatever they want to believe in.
What gets me is when government embraces a singular religious belief system and then enacts laws based on the teaching of that religious belief system, which all people, even the ones who don't believe in the above mentioned belief system, are required to follow.
