I have a relationship with God. But I'm sick of everyone getting caught up on the religion of things. The reason Christianity doesn't spread is because of Christians. I'm tired of hypocritical judgemental people. Jesus said Come as you are. He hung out with the prostitutes and tax collectors. We are supposed to be a light. Who are we to judge other people? Do you really put yourself with God so that you can judge others?

I am just a bit frusterated.

Unfortunately, so many Christians just go through life ignorant of the true Word of God. They spend an hour or so per week in church blindly following whatever teachings that come from the pulpit without ever doing any real studying for themselves. It seems like their faith lies with their preacher/preist as much as it does Jeshua (Jesus).

How often though, does a sermon about judging others come along? Or about getting out in the communty and helping their neighbors? Instead, the churches are focusing on things like how homosexuality is so wrong or how to be a good Christian you must be in church every Sunday

When I was a teenager, I felt that there was something not quite right about the teachings of the church as well as the actions of church members so I quit going to church when I left home and I only go back rarely. I continue to be disappointed.

The last time I got talked into going to church, the sermon was more like an infomercial than a lesson on being a good Christian. The topic was basically "How you too can get rich" by giving your money to the church.

There are, however, a few churches here and there that do teach the truth..or at least try to but their attendance is usually small since most people pick a church based on what they want to hear instead of attempting to learn the truth.

I've found that the most enlightened Christians are the ones that don't go to church but instead, study the Bible for themselves but we are in the minority and it's the others that give us all a bad name.

The Bible is explicitly clear about not judging others but yet it's hardly ever taught. It's also clear on how to treat others, helping those in need and loving your fellow man but how often do you hear these things coming from the pulpit?

If more Christians would do their own studying and start worrying about how they live their life instead of how other people live theirs, this world would be a better place and Christianity wouldn't be getting itself such a bad rap.

I have been in that situation before so i know what you are saying. I am a chrisitan and have been for just over 2 years now. I do not hang around any christians. I may go to prayer ministry and the lady who does it is lovely her name is Dianne and she is very understanding to me. I know a few other very nice christians too.The pastors are the ones that Judge more. The moment you find a pastor like that do not go back to that church. I have been kicked out of Alpha courses twice. Once because I talk tooo much, and twice becaue I accidently said the s*** word. Yes a lot of them can be very Judemental. Just live your life pleasing to God. Aslong as you do not live the way of the world, repent each day, forgive others, which I know can be quite difficult, tithe at church what you can, Pray and spend time with God each day you do not need to worry about what other people say. Athiets a lot of them I have come accross are very rude too. There a bad apples in every race.Listen just becasue somebody goes to church once per week does not mean they are going to Heaven, and some call them selves christians but only by words, and God will Judge them. All you have to do is worry about your salvation, and work it out with trembling and fear as God's word says. God bless, Leanne

Kinda replied your individual question. with the aid of telling them that Jesus loves them, we additionally clarify to you your sin nature, the wages of sin, and the eternal way forward for sinners. the sturdy information is that God loves them a lot that He made a previously for people who pick to have self assurance. purely a part be conscious which you would be able to discover exciting. ALL Christians have been as quickly as non-Christians. listening to the certainty of the gospel is an important difficulty.
