Images of an ultimate source of evil abound in religions around the world, but there are few actual descriptions in scripture. If you happen to believe in Satan, Mastema, Iblis, Akuma, or any other supernatural embodiment of ultimate evil, how would you describe it?

Please indicate your religious affiliation. Thanks.

Well, I consider myself a Christian and I have come to believe that satan will look like our image of Jesus Christ. When satan comes to see how many souls he can conquer, people are going to believe that he is Jesus. He was also one of Gods cherubum. This makes me believe that he is beautiful in appearance, not some red, scaly, horned creature with cloven hooves that we are taught as a child.

I am a Christian.

The Old Testament describes Lucifer as one of the most handsome, strong, & virile angels in Heaven. Lucifer was one of God's head warrior angels.

Pure unadulterated evil was disguised and hid behind a handsome face and form. And when Lucifer began to believe his own hype, he thought he was God's equal and set out to overthrow God Almighty in Heaven and he and his army of followers were thrown from Heaven in short order and cursed to reside and crawl on their bellies on the Earth and the Underworld.

Satan would have people believe in and be on the look out for a horned, red bodied man with a long forked tail. The stuff of Hollywood horror shows & artistic nightmarish visions such as Dante' s Inferno.

Few then and now, see a handsome or pretty face and are suspect...unless they look into their soulless, empty doll's eyes that are windows into their REAL selves.

Why do people think serial murderers, rapists, and child killers are so hard to catch and so easily overlooked at first glance? Because they are (for the most part) young handsome or "normal" looking people. Men/women whose neighbors are shocked to their toes when they discover the man/woman they thought and had previously described as a nice, quiet, soft-spoken or genial, charismatic young man/woman...was in fact pure evil capable of and responsible for horrendous, tortuous, perverted acts of senseless brutality.

That is one of the reasons so many will be fooled and drawn in by the Anti-Christ. He will be handsome. He will be or claim Jewish blood. He will come from the Middle East. He will never have married. He will in truth be homosexual but remain celebate. He will be very politically, socially, and business savvy. He will "appear" charismatic to all nations and he will "miraculously" appear to solve globular strife and deprivations. He will make an amazingly lucrative 7 year peace treaty with the nation of Israel and he will keep it to the letter, without fail, for 3.5 years until he is elected leader of the World Government, then his "TRUE" self is revealed and all the globular atrocities committed against man since Noah will not be 1/10 the atrocities that Satan will commit with impugnity.

According to the scriptures (Bible) he was the most beautiful angel - the Angel of Music. He was banned from heaven because he opposed to God.

I would imagine he is half-angel, half-instrument? Not sure about that though. But he is not ugly like often depicted in cartoons or other forms of drawings.

Maybe he can even change his appearance..who knows.

I'm a Christian.

I'm atheist. Which isn't exactly religion.

But Christians tend to think that atheists are the children of Satan (Tony Evans broadcast), so I suppose he looks like my dad.

The head of a bison, the body of a man. But he only exists in spirit though. And he posses the strength equal to that of Jesus, but not as strong as the almighty God (our creator).
