Do you question your faith, or your religion?

My answer - I never make uncomfortable excuses for my questions. I always find the answers in my religion. If you're questioning and not finding comfortable answers, perhaps you should hold onto your faith, but seek the religion that offers you real answers. God speaks to your heart. If you feel uncomfortable, that is often his way of telling you something isn't right - unless you're uncomfortable because you just don't like His rules. That's a whole other situation!

I question my faith all the time, and I don't try to drive it from my mind. That's why I'm here, actually. I don't mind being a bit uncomfortable. Through challenging my faith on a daily basis, it's become stronger. There is nothing that's been said here that's weakened my faith, though some questions have made me dig for answers on my own.

I wish all the atheists on here knew how grateful I am to them.

I've now favorited that site. Have you seen this one?

I actually found that site to be very interesting. After reading through it though, I saw that one MAJOR mistake had been made: Trying to put limits on God. There ARE no limits to God, if He exists. He is utterly outside our laws.

Never.

Questions are the only way we learn. And even when we ask ourselves a question...with no outside influence we learn something.

We can never "lose" an idea...there are many levels of thought..but we know those doubts or questions exist on some level...and we always answer them.

If I find myself questioning my faith, then I research the question further. Making excuses is not a substitute for scholarship.

i never question my faith. i only add to it. i am an agnostic polytheist. so i sort of make up my religion as i go along. i have added such things as polytheism and witchcraft and karma and various things. dont question your faith, add to it. no matter what faith you are you can add to it. every religion has improvements it can make. if you look at what does not make sense to you and add some things that do make sense you are still of your faith you were before you started adding. because your faith is not what is changing, only your interpretation of it.

It is normal to question things, you should stop hanging around people who tell you to believe or else. It is a GOOD thing to use your mind, God gave you an intelligent mind so you could use it, not lose it in someone elses rules.
