If Republicans are so adept at securing the nation as they claim and want us common folk to believe; please tell me why the so-called terrorists attacked during the tenure of a Republican President and Republican controlled Congress?

Wouldn't that be great Michael S?
But 'they' would probably assassinate him or her.

DCCIII might find this interesting if he hasn't already read it:
Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion

http://www.biblebelievers.org.au/przion1.htm

I first read this book circa 1974.
In the Yahoo Search bar, type 1970's and the name of any of the mid-east countries and find some interesting things that connect up to today.

O.K. havenone, heretofore called, Smart Guy. LOL
At least you aren’t a cowardly lion like federalistcapers, that doesn’t allow e-mail to be sent to him.
The first bombing of the WTC was in 1993 when Bill Clinton was in office.
Prior to that George Bush Sr was President.
Much less time than the attack that occurred a few months into George Jr.’s presidency, terrorist attacked the WTC by planting a car bomb.
May this idiotic nitwit ask you, the Smart Guy, ANOTHER stupid question?
Rhetorical; don’t answer that one. ANSWER ME THIS.
Just HOW MANY YEARS DID IT TAKE TO PLAN THE FIRST BOMING OF THE WTC.
And since you know so much; HOW MANY YEARS DID IT TAKE TO PLAN THE SECOND ONE?
C’MON SMART GUY.
I’M WAITING.
AND WHAT MAKES YOU THINK IT TOOK YEARS?

Democrats and Republicans have failed to protect our borders. The time for an independant president with no ties to the two major parties is now.

Probably because the terrorists knew that the Republican president was reactionary, and would do exactly what they expected he would do; lash out blindly for revenge, thus, alienating every ally the US had in the Muslim world, and causing some of the Muslim nations and people of a nation to unite.

Iraq and Iran, and Syria and Iraq have been bitter enemies for years, due to border disputes. However, it appears that not only is Iran and Syria supplying the Iraqi insurgents with arms, supplies and soldiers; we are even contemplating negotiating terms with Iran and Syria to help rebuild Iraq. How stupid is that?

Another effect is that the US' credibility in the world political forum has taken a big hit, due to our "rush to judgment" concerning our excuse (WMD) for invading Iraq. It cost poor Tony Blair his job.

Therefore, all of the events that have unfolded were planned by the terrorists because they knew how a reactionary, nit-wit Republican president would respond.

Is it possible that idiots like you stop asking stupid questions like this?
Trying to blame Bush for the 9/11 (a few months after Clinton left office) is like trying to blame whales for global warming. It took years to plan not days. Keep up on your facts, nitwit.

Both parties are controlled by Israel; we don't have a government!
Nazi Bush – Neocons - Israel Serving NWO http://www.wrmea.com/archives/May_2004/0405020.html

Since 9/11, a small group of “neoconservatives” in the administration have effectively gutted—they would say reformed—traditional American foreign and security policy. Features of the new Bush doctrine include the pre-emptive use of unilateral force, and the undermining of the United Nations and the principle instruments and institutions of international law...all in the cause of fighting terrorism and promoting homeland security.

Frankly the Muslim extremest don't care who is in power. They are still fighting the crusades. The record of the Republican party in war is really not that good. The Democrats were in power in WWII and in Korea, with far better outcomes than Viet Nam and now Iraq. The Republican are just better at talking and kind of fail miserably when it comes to the actual fighting.

No. It is not. It helped steal an election in 2000. It gave us two terms of George Bush, a bogus war under false pretenses and an outright campaign against
our civil liberties. Republicans have made us LESS safe,

Since we have only two parties to pick from, I'd say, "Yes, the Republican Party is more likely to be against the goals of the terrorists than the Democrat Party."
