That's kind of the way I thought of things when I was about 3, but, as I learned the truth, I had to give up that idea. A better comparison is that of a father, sending his children off to school. He doesn't control our actions - he allows us to learn, occasionally intervening. Stuff happens. We learn and experience things and learn to be the best we can be. Sometimes there are bullies on the playground. He lets us learn to deal with them on our own as well. He is not an interfering sort of Father. He knows what we need to learn and how we will best learn it. And yes, I think He occasionally gets really ticked at us - like any other parent. But, I think he told us what the consequences of our actions would be before we came. Unlike earthly parents - He is consistent. He always does what He says he'll do. I don't think that is Him shaking things up --- just the way things work in the eternal world.

With God all things are possible.....
I have had the feeling in the past that I am under the microscope, and that I will be in trouble for the wrong move or thought. There are those who say that when disasters strike that is God doing just that....
I'm still unsure about that....It is a very interesting concept that we, as in humanity, are nothing more than a toy or experiment for a higher power's amusement. In my humble opinion God created us, we are his children, he sent his only begotten son among us to teach us and he does love us.....Now, do me a favor think about this the next time you kick over an ant hill.....
Peace be with you.

this is a tongue in cheek question. I in basic terms don't have faith in this God, regardless of stable circumstances offered by using human beings like JBT and the bible. everybody is entitled to their concept. i think that human beings are the recent understanding of the universe. we are its eyes. We may well be particular in that regard, yet no longer something magical. we don't might desire to be beholden to any 'god' or gods.

Whoa, yeah!!!!!
That's a real interesting thought.
BUT HERE'S ANOTHER ONE:
A God who loves these tiny insignficant ants.
=^o
I know...sounds unbelievable. Which is probably why it's even more unbelievable to think that God would become an ant and go down and live down in this ant farm to be killed in the most horrendous way because He loves them/us so much.
Hope that helps, God bless. ^_^

I think so,because when things are going really good in my life something happens. Its like something gets bored when things are going right for me.But its probably the Devil.God doesn't get credit for that one.
