Life! It has its ups and downs but it is always an exciting ride. Life was the first gift we all received, I know thats what I cherish the most.

The greatest gift I've ever received was my life lessons from my Dad. (I was Daddy's little girl)

He was the original 'think outside the box' guy and the original 'do the math' guy.

He also taught me some carpentry, but I can't live up to his talents, however I have completed a LOT of stuff I didn't even know I could do, just by hearing his voice in my head (I'm not weird, just recollecting things he told me at one point or another)

Once, when I had a (what seemed to me to be) a huge tax bill and wanted to migrate to Costa Rica, he told me that if I left I could never return. I paid the tax bill. He taught me to pay my due taxes.

When I got into a traffic accident one time, I called Daddy, he asked if anyone was injured. Nobody was, he said "Don't worry about it, people are the ones that count, insurance will pick up the rest". Momma was so scatterbrained that she ordered him to go out and buy another car that evening... I had like $110 damage to the other guy's car, $/4 to mine... What Momma wants, Momma gets ... else NOBODY's gonna be happy.

I'm rambling.. sorry. Caught up in the memories, I'll stop now.

I could go esoteric, but I'll save that for another question :) The best gift I ever got was last mother's day. I got some things...but the best thing I got was a relaxing day of fishing with my boys. And we even caught fish which was a total bonus! :)

A unicorn.
I needed money and eventually sold it on ebay.
I'll regret that decision for the rest of my life.

My daughter. God has blessed me with many, many blessings, but if I had to pick one, it would be her. She is a direct answer to a prayer. And I couldn't have picked a better human being if I'd had a check-off list to do it from. :)
