Hey punter. Did you ever think you'd have a better chance of converting more people to Islam if you engaged them in rational discussion rather than just spamming them with way, way too much information you cut and pasted off a Muslim site? I'm not referring to this question by the way, I'm just using it as a vehicle to the drive-by sermon you did in my question since you probably won't go back to read any response. Which, by the way, you might have gotten more thoroughly if we were having a discussion about Islam, as opposed to pasting irrelevant material into a discussion about the psychology of atheism.

Cheers!

Punter you are almost there. The Bible give you all of the truth, It should be read completely and a man would have to seek God's truth we do know that because of sin comes death. It is obvious that man does die and all men do sin. The Qu'ran has a problem with this fact as it teaches Adam was forgiven for sin and yet Adam is dead. The true word of God does show that sin does cause death and all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. No mortal man can pay for another man's sin how could that be possible when all men sin. God is righteous and the penalty of sin is death which is a fact that is overlooked by the Qu'ran. This proves the fact that it is neccessary for God to come to the world in the form of man, to be tempted and to overcome sin and death and to remain perfect and to pay the penalty of death for those who accept his atonement. without this price being paid man does die in his sin.

"And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are SEALED unto the day of redemption." ~Ephesians 4:30

You are right to the extent that one cannot say a prayer once and then live like the devil, and expect to enter the kingdom of GOD,
but......
The above scripture seems to RE-ITTERATE that once saved-always saved doctrine. I would rather be safe than sorry, so I will strive to live according to HIS precepts, and not take YESHUA's death in vain.

No. I wouldn't say so. I'm not sure what you're tying to prove with the scripture as I don't think you understand the context of each of those passages you're citing from.

I think reading the chapters that each of those lines contain might help you to understand them better. ^_^ God bless.

Only Jesus can save us from the penelty of sin ( death) we show our faith in our works but that does not pay the price of sin nothing we can do ever could.
