Please read the story below!

A little boy died because surgeons found ants in his brain! Apparently this boy fell asleep with some sweets in his mouth or with some sweet stuff beside him. Ants soon got to him and some ants in fact crawled into his ear which somehow managed to go to his brain. When he woke up, he did not realize that ants had gone to his head. After that, he constantly complained about itchiness around his face. His mother brought him to a doctor, but the doctor could not figure out what was wrong with him. He took an X-ray of the boy and to his horror, he found a group of live ants in his skull. Since the ants were still alive, the doctor could not operate on him because the ants were constantly moving around. The boy finally died.

Please is this possible? Kindly give a detailed explanation of your answer.

No. It makes for a nice story but it cannot happen. There is no way to get into the brain through the ear. Even if you eat through the ear drum there are many other impassable anatomical barriers in the way.
There are no sensory nerves inside the skull so there would not have been any itching sensation.
Ants would not show up on an X ray.
There are no free passages to move around inside the skull. and no source of oxygen.

It is highly unlikely. Ants could not dig a tunnel through the skull and into the brain. They would eventually strike a blood vessel or some other fluid and be drowned. Nerve cells may go from the ear canal into the brain but the ear canal does not.

I dont know how much credibility I would give that story. Could you provide a link to where you found it from?

Also, I cant imagine how they can figure out that there were ants in his brain using an X-ray. I dont think it will show up that easily. Unless of course, there was an absolutely huge number of ants.

Not possible. Ants could not survive inside a cranium, for lack of oxygen.

Not possible.
There's not enough oxygen in the brain for ants to survive.
