3 years ago I puchased two sisters from a breeder in CA. I have since then purchased a male and they were bred. Luckily the females came in heat faily closely so I will have 2 litter within a week.

I currently have a 3 week old litter of 6 and Kaylie is expected to have 4 of the precious Frenchies in a weeks time.

I got Kaylie and Ellie for $1900 each and I got E-Jay for $1600. Any ideas how much I should sell the babies for?

The French Bulldog pups will be vaccinated, AKC reg, wormed, flead, microchipped and vet checked.

I AM NOT ADVERTISING TO SELL THEM HERE! I am simply asking how MUCH to sell them for.

Well price is dependent on your area, cost of rasing the litter and the Quality of the dogs you are breeding.. For a first litter from unproven parents, perhaps no health clearances, or show wins.. you could resonably expect,, a moderate amount of intrest for around $500..

Because your breeder charged you XX amount does not mean that you, as a first time breeder can charge the same..
A breeder charges baised on the quality of the dogs they have, and reputation.. you are jsut starting out.. and will have a long time working to the point where you can charge the same.. unless you can get a lot of uneducated buyers.. willing to pay just about anything..then the question is,, do you want to sell to them..

A good quality puppy from Exceptional quality parents, is worth a lot,, but the average pet litter,, is not.. and ideally there is no reason to breed just pets, or use this as an excuse to not breed the best quality you can.. there are plenty of great pets in a Well bred litter,, and enough dogs needing homes in rescue.. as a breeder people expect the dog they are buying to be of good healh, temperment and looks of a particular breed..you should offer wareentees for your dogs..
That is the whole point of Buying a dog of a particualr breed Vs Just a puppy.. and buying a dog from a good breeder.. Vs the add in the paper, or petstore..
So depending on your goals of your breeding program.. and the quality of your dogs.. will really effect how much you can ask for your dogs.. in the end..

Wish you luch,, frenchies usually require C-sections.. Hope the other Girl can have natural birth.. and also they have a lot of health concerns.. so plan ahead and put aside your refund money for the new owners.. I assume you are going to warentee the health of your dogs for life from genetic defects? offer to take any dog back for its lifetime.. This is part of the Code of ethics for good breeders.. They stand behind the quality of their dogs, and always prevent them from ending up in bad homes, shelters or rescue..

Honestly.. you should be asking your breeder that you got your dogs from.. They should be mentoring you in some aspects of the dog breeding game.. you purchased your foundation stock from this person... and they should be offering you help and assistance.. Any reputable breeder would be checking in,, and very happy to offer some help to you..

Quality French Bulldogs cost AT LEAST $1800 from reputable breeders. Why did you breed your dogs? It sounds like you know nothing about the breed nor what it takes to be a decent breeder... it actually seems you've done this simply to make money. All dogs are to be bred in order to improve and perfect the breed. If you don't know anything about the breed, how and why on earth did you do this??

I hope it's not true-- but it certainly seems like you are a very risky and selfish "breeder." I feel bad for whomever buys one of your pups thinking that you are a decent and good breeder. Yeah, you may be nice and love the dogs, but you have no idea what you are doing. Do you even know when its okay for the dogs to leave your home or what the breed standard is?

Also, do you know what an AKC registration entails? Do you have the pedigrees of your dogs? If you are going to provide AKC registrations it will cost you around $50 per puppy- so that needs to be included in the price, not to mention the cost of spay/neuter, micro-chipping and a full set of vaccinations.

Many times it depends on the area you are in and how flooded the market is with that particular breed. The more available the lower the price. However, I would say that you should figure on around what you paid for the parents assuming they are good quality pups. Check some of the breed websites and see what other breeders are charging. Keep in mind that established breeders with good reputations get higher prices generally. Also dogs with a show record will fetch a higher price as will having parents with a championship show record.
One more thing, keep in mind you should not breed them on every heat. Skip a litter, it's better for the mother. Hope that helps you some. Good luck.

That will depend on whether your breed suffers from hereditary problems and did you test for them with your dogs? If you did then I would ring the French Bulldog Club and enquire how much the puppies are. Since you bought yours for $1600-$1900 your puppies will probably sell for about the same price.
Good luck you are in for a very busy time ahead. Enjoy the puppy breath.

females usaully sell for 950-3000 males usaully sell for 650-3000... Depending on the parents..... I say u should try 2 sell them for 2000-2500 and if know one wants them siply lower the price... Theres no point in starting low when u could make 2000 at first and then 1500 for the rest.........

No clue, but I'd expect if you can prove their lineage and that they are purebreed that they'll be worth more.
