Self loafing? Well it can be dangerous, the oven can be a doozy, but we all knead to RISE to the occasion, know what I mean?

Self loathing is not only dangerous to yourself, your health & well being, it's also harmful to those who love you.
If I thought it's help I'd be posting my Ex's Blog url here as an example.
His various disabilities (including diabetes) are now all worse - cause of his self loathing. He was convinced that there was nothing wrong. He ignored medical (hell ANY) advice if it did not support his fantasies. He was anorexic when I finally got him to hospital.
Then things for worse. I believe totally ignoring his health caused more than just physical damage. His personality changed becoming more delusional, demanding & abusive. Blaming me for everything that went wrong. In his delusional state he was convinced that he was the victim.
Which only hurts his daughter & myself more.
So yes it is dangerous. VERY dangerous.

Self-loathing is not biblical (neither is self-loafing).
The Bible says that we should love our neighbor as we love ourselves. If we loath ourselves it doesn't bode well for our neighbor.

I don't think so. But i suppose that it's like anything else: we can pervert a good thing to work to our own purpose.
