How many of you women 22-30 would date an older man and feel comfortable about it? Lets say the man is going 39 y.o. but looks younger.

Age really isn't a factor and never has been for me. Looks don't really matter as much as personality either.

not me. I find it creepy that a guy whose 39 can't get a woman his own age. Are the 39 year olds aware of men's sneakery and not passing on the info to us in our 20's ???

sorry

ditto the person above, only prefer guys my own age. It's less drama and more fun!

I know people don't mind, but whenever I see an older guy and younger girl I think of that old dog you have and then you go out and pick up a new puppy to keep it young and running . . .it's not as cute in humans.

Uhm, guy, you're old enough to be my father. I certainly don't have daddy issues! I really have to wonder why a 39 year old would be trying to pick up young women. It's usually for a few reasons and none of them are good. Let's see what they are shall we?

1) He's a pervert and wants to take advantage of some inexperienced pussy. He'll shower the woman with gifts, say he loves her and then ask her for some sexual favours you don't even find in most pornography only to video tape it and put it online. (Or something like that) He just got status with his buddies.

2) He's a jerk who wants babies. He know he's getting on in years and knows that most women his age aren't that stupid, so he's tries to find some young innocent, low self esteem and in need woman who will 'settle down' get knocked up and marry his house. She won't be allowed to get a job and he'll use lines about his age to control her and keep her bare foot and pregnant in the kitchen.

Yea, no. I'll stick to my own age. Of course, I'm married now, but not to some nasty old guy.

Only stupid women. That is too much of an age difference. Maybe 39 looks younger, but fact is 39 years old.

I am generally more attracted to older guys so I would be ok with it. I do find though with dating someone that much older there is a very big difference in certain interest that can sometimes be a problem or it could be potentially further down the road.

Well - I married one - ha ha!! The thing is though that his mom had him early in life - my mom had me really late in life- so our parents are still about the same age. I think there's something to be said for the age group of the individuals raising you as far as having alot in common. But when you get to the age difference where - the guy could be my dad - no - I wouldn't go for that - that would seem gross.

Definitely would date and old cat esp. if he still looks good and young. Older guys are more patient, more experienced, and know how to be good old fashion gentleman although there are some exceptions. Some guys will just be guys.
