Ubuntu is more beginner friendly and React OS is a littlebit advanced

Honestly never heard of React OS before but I am typing this using Ubuntu, I've used Ubuntu for almost a year now and love it though. Ubuntu is fantastic for beginners and is great for advanced users as well.
OK I looked up React OS and it is completely different. React OS is not Linux and is intended to be an Open Source implementation of Windows XP.

Haven't tried React, but Ubuntu is a Live CD, so you can try it without installing it.
Then, see if React is available as a Live CD.
Then, decide for yourself.
