OK, firstly I will ask where have you read that heaven is full of sex. I have yet to read this and I am a Muslim. Shiia, they are not Muslims. You can call them what you like but, they are not Muslims. In Iran the Sunni Muslims who live there can not even build mosque. Yes, a man can marry up to four wives being he treat all 4 equal. This is practically impossible and many frown on taking more then one wife.
However, as for being open minded about sex in a marriage, Islam is. Other then sodomy many married people enjoy healthy sexual relationships with one another...

It is important that you understand the division of muslims; The Sunni and Shia Muslims. Although they share the most fundamental Islamic beliefs and articles of faith, there are differences in the two.
The word "Sunni" in Arabic comes from a word meaning "one who follows the traditions of the Prophet." On the other hand, the Shiites hold the belief that leadership should have stayed within the Prophet's own family, among those specifically appointed by him, or among Imams appointed by God Himself.

Thus, they disregard the Prophets (s.a.w) sunnah, that specifically prohibits 'temporary' marriage for the purpose of sex. For sunni muslims, this is a major sin.
Worldwide, Shias constitute ten to fifteen percent of the overall Muslim population that remains sunni.
On a practical day - to - day level, Shias have a different call to prayer, they perform wudu and salat differently including placing the forehead onto a piece of hardened clay from Karbala, not directly onto the prayer mat when prostrating. They also tend to combine prayers, sometimes worshipping three times per day instead of five.
The Shias also have some different ahadith and prefer those narrated by Ali and Fatima to those related by other companions of the Prophet (s.a.w). Because of her opposition to Ali, those narrated by Aisha count among the least favoured.
Shiites also permits muttah - fixed-term temporary marriage - which is now banned by the Sunnis. Muttah was originally permitted at the time of the Prophet (s.a.w) and is now being promoted in Iran by an unlikely alliance of conservative clerics and feminists, the latter group seeking to downplay female virginity which is prevalent in both forms of Islam.

yes. Islam is open-minded as it dosn't want the wife to have to go tru the agonies of her husband having a mistress. better to have a second wife. i should know.......
n about ur 2 and 3.... well, u r wrong. Islam dosn't consider marriage to be related to only sex. n Islam neither considers marriage a temprorary game a girl n boy plays (like many people in the west nowadays consider).

that "A guy can marry up to 4 wives" thing is not easy as people see it. the challenges are on both males and females. the male should be able to provide justly to all his wives: sexually, emotionally, financially, spiritually and materially. islam also doesnt encourage the muslims to marry for lust. we married for the love for God and human. we married also according to one's religon, one's ascendants, one's beauty and one's wealth.
if a wife can fulfill all the requirements of a good wife and a husband can provide the necessities, this is where islam is perfect in marriage..

Only open-minded for the males maybe. It does not look like much fun for the women. Open-minded would not be the phrase that comes to mind, slavery seems to fit the bill.
