maybe you need to warm up/stretch more properly before running. otherwise, you can stretch a tendon or get cramps.

Leg cramps are wholly natural throughout being pregnant. To aid your possibilities of now not getting them make certain you are ingesting sufficient water throughout the day, dozing for your left facet and on foot. To relieve the ache whilst you do get a cramp, instantly flex your calf muscle mass by way of straightening your leg and bending your feet again closer to your shin. Probably lack of stretching first. The muscle isn't getting enough oxygen so the lactic acid is building up causing pain.

One possibility is low potassium levels. You can find out by a simple blood test. In the meantime, eat two bananas every day and increase your intake of potatoes, dried apricots, avocados and dried beans & lentils.

I don't recommend an over-the-counter potassium supplement because they can give you diarrhea.
