I mean, it's great and everything, but it seems that people's standards get more and more shallow all the time.

Some people's standards are. There are a lot of people who follow God's laws and save that precious privilege for the marriage bed, where it is supposed to be only. Sex out of marriage is wrong and is a sin called lust.

I think that sex has become so media-oriented that many people are starting to believe that it is a good thing when that is all that the partner wants. I think in many ways that the media has obstructed our view of how relationships should be, and what we consider as beautiful. In today's society it has become almost an everyday thing that everyone non-chalantly talks about...
It is definitely something that has lost its value that way. People don't realize how special it can be.

Sex should be an end result of a strong healty relationship. Not vice versa. I guess people have become so desensitized & corrupted & their sense of priorities have changed over time. Its really sad if you ask me. and i dont know what can be done except for you to be the expection & hope also to meet someone else who's an exception to the rule.

Why is it that you believe that relationships are based on sex? Sex is only a part of a quality relationship, yes it's important, but still it's only a fraction of what a good relationship is based on.

I think in a relationship you need to be open and honest about your sexual needs, u got to give a little to get some and keep them, it's true... Most guys wont admit.
If u want to keep them you've got to keep them happy dont you, sure it may sound shallow but its true. Whateva age he is...

I would say with Adam and Eve. Plus I think it became more mainsteam for women in the 60's. Burning bras and such... Once you get married it isn't quite as important. You don't have to work so hard to get it.

Well it sucks but I think it's because sex is all around us, thrown in our faces on TV, radio, mags, movies. It's everywhere so I think people start to believe that is that way it is supposed to be. It's sad really!
