The chicken. Why ? because if the egg came first there would not be a hen to sit on it so it could hatch,or a rooster to fertilise it

If you just mean egg in general, of course the egg came first. There were egg laying animals long before chickens.
If you mean specifically a chicken egg that still presents a problem of definition. What would be the first chicken egg? The first egg laid by a chicken, or the first egg a chicken hatched from? Your definition of egg gives you the answer.

It is said that the t-rex was the ancestor of the chicken. Therefore, the dinosaur laid eggs first. Then it slowly evolved and became the chicken, with the feathers and everything else. So really we should be asking whether the dinosaur or the egg came first ^_^

T-rex became a chicken!!!! That was awesome...and I thought it was stated that evolution was going up the chain!!
God created a chicken ready to reproduce and it was perfect (in the begining)

Hi Adeline! The Chicken came first........Read Genesis, First Chapter, Verse 24 and 25....God made all the animals 'first', male & female, then He told them to be fruitful and multiply....and this applys to birds, fish, plants, just read all of the first chapter of Genesis, you'll understand, it's a no-brainer..God Bless You!

Any Christian who truly believes in God and The Bible knows God created the animals before creating man, thus the CHICKEN came first.
