repeats himself twice? I was working closely with a cute guy for a few months, we flirted, laughed, made eye contact the whole time. The project ended last week and on our last day, he says "Yeah, we're done." Then I agreed and seemed somewhat relieved and he said it again, "We're finished".

Does that mean he dislikes my company? Why did he repeat himself twice?

It's possible that the project itself was boring or stressful, and he's happy that it's over. He may have also repeated himself if you did not say anything very shortly after he said that you were done, just as a way to say something at all instead of continue the silence. I don't think many guys like long silences because it may get him to think that the girl isn't as interested. I like it more when girls not only acknowledge what I am saying, but try to keep that subject going. Maybe you should have just asked him if he felt it was stressful or whatever.

On the other hand, it could also mean that the guy wants a change of pace from your company. Maybe he would rather go out with you where you two are just having fun, and not always working. Actually, I can't think of many guys that like to work on schoolwork when a girl's around. He might be relieved because he knows he can focus on you, now. Of course, if you two aren't dating, perhaps this would be a good time to offer to go somewhere fun with him. If he rejects, he may never have been interested in you, which would be unfortunate. However, you said you guys seems to get along. Perhaps he is waiting for the opportunity. It would be great for you to present it to him, so that he knows that you're interested.

Remember, it's a two-way street. You don't know what's going on in his head, but you can at least make the right moves on your part, to show that you care.

Well i think when the guy repeat himself twice it means that he wouldn't want that project to over he hopes that he could spent longer time with you.He knows when it is over your relationship with him will not be the same as the past so think the positive side it is not that he don't want to be with you but just hoping that you would set a date to meet him or wouldn't let him leave you know sometimes girls have to make the first move!!!Hope this helps you.

You're just being over-sensitive. You both spent time on one project for MONTHS. He's entitled to repeat himself AT LEAST 10 more times..

With regards to whether or not he likes your company, why don't you ask him out for a movie or something? It's clear you like his..

Maybe he was hoping you would say something like: "no we're not, here's my phone number". Some guys are kind of shy about asking for dates, or a girl's phone number because they have been blown-off so many times. If a guy talks, flirts and is constantly looking at you he is at least "interested"

It's possible that he was sad you were finished. Maybe he said it twice leaving it on you, leaving it open for you to say something like, "you know we don't have to be done, right?" Guys are a lot more shy and timid then they like to let on.

i like a superb guy, and mean adult men get interest because of the fact the are so over bearing that they call for it any way they could..and intimidation is a large element, on the particular women they %. that could desire to nevertheless be a sufferer of a guy..

My guess is that he is kinda shy and wanted to talk to you but couldn't really thing of anything to talk about.

If you want to try and get a better feel of weither he likes you or not, go back to him in a couple of days and ask him help you study or explain something from class.

if he repeats himself twice, he is trying to convince himself AND you of something.

Good luck and be careful!
