That is the whole problem today. People are marrying thinking that they will form that person into what they want them to be. It just does not happen that way. It is too bad that people try to read things into what other people say. For instance, the other day, in Yahoo Answers, a girl wrote something about her boyfriend saying that it was over because things weren't working out. Then she says "What does he mean by that?" Well, she was trying to read more into what he said. He actually told her that he was giving up on the relationship, because it was not working out. How much clearer could he have made it? Yet because she did not like what she actually heard, she tried to find a hidden meaning, and there was none. Just love them for what they are, and there will be no illusions or disappointments.
I say, be true to yourself first, then you can be true to others. Otherwise, you are just spitting into the wind. Love yourself first, then you can love others. Most of all, don't think that you can make a person change to suit your needs. It just does not happen that way!!!

Oh yes... I got out of that kind of relationship this past January... He really didn't accept me for who I was and try to get me to do "activities" outside of marriage... No No No...
But one of these days I'll get a guy that loves me for me and don't care how I look and stuff...

Yes! Absolutely, thats the way, it should be, "Love me for what I am" but sadly they all say "YES" but moment you are commited, then things starts to change, and it becomes more so "Controlling"
Poof and the phrase is gone out the window, this is more so in story books, not in reality.
