Which are you advocating -- abstinence from processed foods, or a particular species of animal? Or both?
The only sinfulness in dietary habits as far as most Christians are concerned is taking in too much of a good thing (or bad, for that matter); that is, gluttony. That, and -- for liturgical denominations -- not observing fasting and abstinence requirements during Lent and other holy days.
I like the point you raise, though, because at its heart is the issue that if we believe our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, then why would we fill them with junk? On an individual basis, some Christians do take that to heart and it's reflected in their dietary habits as a matter of faith. Most cloistered communities and religious orders do so, as well. But to my knowledge it's not formalized as a tenet of any particular denomination, sect, or congregation.

According to the Bible, all formerly "unclean" animals have been cleansed by God. There are no dietary restrictions on Christians.
Even though the foods are clean, it is the way we prepare the food that is harming our bodies in this day and age. Of course, science is discovering that some of the shortcuts and enhancements we are currently doing to our foods are the problem.
Even so, the Bible further says that all things are permissible, but not all things are good. We are encouraged to stay only with those things that are good.
As we discover that things we do or have are actually bad for us, we should avoid them, but God is not about to "legislate" our behavior. That is up to us, and we must take full responsibility for our actions, or lack thereof.

Whoa buddy, easy on the generalizations!
There are laws that alot of Christians follow, which are clearly spelled out in the scriptures:
-dont eat bottom feeders (catfish, crabs, lobsters...)
-dont eat anything which still has its lifeblood in it
-dont eat pork
and so on
Like Esther said, Gentiles werent under the laws, plus as Christians we are not bound by the law, there is freedom in Christ-and only mature Christians grasp this.
Jesus has freed us from those laws- ie: when He appeared to Peter and told Him that there are no unclean foods.
So, we rely on the Holy Spirit to guide us, but we also obey the scriptures. However, it is for freedom that Christ has set us free.
Soli Deo Gloria!

In Leviticus 11:7 God stated Israelites ought to no longer consume beef simply by fact pigs have been ceremonially unclean. This and different nutritional regulations have been designed to sell long healthful lives, and weren't seen to be on the comparable point simply by fact the commandments. Later Jesus stated that it’s no longer what is going into those that makes them unclean, yet what comes out of them (Mark 7:17-23). In doing so He declared all ingredients sparkling interior the recent Covenant.

In the new testament dietary laws were removed. However the bible does hit on the importance of staying healthy and that still applies. Unfortunately Christians are not perfects so many of them including myself aren't always as healthy as they should be.

#1 We are not under the Law. It was fulfilled by Jesus Christ and we are no longer captives under the Law. I recommend reading Romans 3.
#2 Am I supposed to want to live in this sinful body as long as possible? Because I don't.

Jesus said the dietary laws were for Jews, not for gentiles.
But I do believe it is our responsiblity to treat our body as well as we can and try to eat the things that are good for us and not to do stupid things like smoke or do drugs.

There are no dietary laws or restrictions for Christians. Diet is a matter of Christian liberty. However we are not to use our freedom as a stumbling block to others who do not share the same views as us.

I am a Jew and I eat bad foods too...
There are certainly many obese Jews (go to Israel) and Jews who do not always stick to prescribed dietary law...
I love cheesecake and ice cream especially when they are combined together...
