Thanx for the responses--I KNOW it's a scam, I just want to know if I should send it to an authority, because it might be a risk, i.e. terrorists or something.

The FBI deals with internet scams, so contact them. I just can't believe that anyone would fall for that.

Congratulations, you've just been targeted for the Nigerian scam. If you decide to help this person, you will find yourself being taken for a ride that will leave you thousands of dollars poorer, lose all of your assets, and wind up in serious legal trouble with our own government.

I have gotten a lot of those.
As a matter of fact, the very first one that I got about 3 years ago, I almost fell for it because he said he was dying in the hospital and even sent me pictures of (I guess it was him) in a wheelchair, in a hospital room.
I had my brother to come over and read the e-mails. He wouldn't even read them all.
He threw them right into spam & told me to never feel sorry for someone just because they send pictures of someone, that you could tell was very sick.
Very cruel joke or spam!

Sounds like a scam to get personal information (i.e. bank account information, address, name, ssn, or something else for identity theft). It's spam, delete it.
