Because Christ was NOT the founder of christianity.
Paul is.
Jesus did not talk about the atonement and that this innovation came from Paul of Tarsus. It is to Paul that Christianity should trace its roots. The origins of Christianity as we know it came, not from Jesus, but from Paul.
The leadership and importance of James, brother of Jesus, was suppressed by the developing Gentile Church but it is through James that we would most likely be able to trace the original teachings of the earthly Jesus.
The original followers, the successor to James and the apostles of Jesus (whether they number twelve or not), were the Jewish Christians (called Nazarenes and Ebionites), who never preached of a heavenly divine Jesus. They fought Pauline Christianity to the end of their days.

OK. Buddhism doesn't have any core similarities as believers or Christians. They don't believe in Jesus, his resurrection or ...hell..So why poses a question comparing them , you know that that "self' type of practice wouldn't do such a thing, they don't believe in it. My self personally i don't think many Church's tell the truth about hell anyway, the message is watered down to the point that it fits everyone and everything to suit the world not the TRUTH. Now it sounds like you've been wounded, maybe judged. I think that people , yes believers make mistakes even act like a fool while they are growing in the Lord, praise God for his forgiveness. They need forgiveness and correction and done right can get the word settled in solid into their lives that they will be able to correct themselves. Right? after all we need that core message of Christ, love. Are people really judging? or are they hitting the target and conviction jumps out and feels like judging? Either way we all have a responsibility to dicifer the difference and make sure we don't end up doing the same.

It is just that we all can not rise up the spiritual ladder at the same time and pace. Some even fall down. This is true in all religion. Our observation may only be statistical, in the sense that the masters are always less in number than the novice. The more Christians there are around you, the more you will observe their novice behavior. I think if there are more Buddhists around, the observation will still be the same.
I for one, however, believe that, relatively speaking, the Buddhists are more Christ like than us Christians.

I seriously doubt buddhists obey christ. I think buddhists obey buddha.
What you are observing is how a belief can affect the behavior of its adherents. If we cannot judge a belief by its intrinsic qualities of truth, etc. because there is no evidence to support its basis, we must turn to observe the effect of belief on its adherents.
In such cases, I must agree with you, that from my lone subjective experience, I have seen more bad-behaving christians than bad behaving buddhists.

Not all Christians of course, but the loudest ones sure fit that description. Buddhists take responsibility for their own actions, no one washes away their 'sins'.
EDIT:
I read it all the way to the end and I still don't see where the bible said it's ok to judge. Maybe non-believers reference the first part while ignoring the last part. But why does that mean believers can reference the last part while ignoring the first?
37"Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. 38Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."
39He also told them this parable: "Can a blind man lead a blind man? Will they not both fall into a pit? 40A student is not above his teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like his teacher.
41"Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 42How can you say to your brother, 'Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,' when you yourself fail to see the plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.

I believe it is for the same reason I say that non christians are more spiritual than christians. They are in touch naturally with their moral fiber and integrity. They live by natural rules which they have set upon themselves because it is obvious what it takes to be a good person. They do not need set guidelines told to them from someone else. People who need that are weak and always looking for a backup, as well as an excuse, and when they live by restrictions not self-imposed and thus actually accepted, they are naturally going to Buck the system, test the waters, and reject.

Seeing how it is,it seems like anybody can be a Christian. But not anybody can be a Buddhist.Buddhists are very peaceful, nonviolent people who DO NOT wage war or think of such awful things. They respect the dead, are humble and respectful of other beliefs and cultures.Christians go on wars and kill people all the time,Not to mention many 'Christians' also drink, cheat, lie, bear tattoos, eat pork shellfish which theyre not supposed to,etc.
Thank God Im an Atheist.lol.

i be attentive to little or no approximately Buddhism, so i'm unsure how qualified i'm to answer this, yet i visit tell you this. I even have in no way felt that Asian teachings have been "heathen" on the thank you to talk, and quite plenty of their way of existence with regard to appreciate on your mothers and fathers, social order, etc. are very Biblical. once I see a picture of a Buddist or a Sholin praying, I in no way think of "Oh Heathen." I see somebody with an excellent type of reverance and appreciate for issues that are no longer himself, and even perhaps a bigger potential. That being pronounced, i could be very, very careful. I woldn't desire to undertaking into some thing like this without understanding the observe of God very thoroughly. despite if i'm no longer able to remeber it needless to say, I do undergo in ideas interpreting up on Buddhism a on an identical time as returned, and thinking, "you be attentive to what? those adult men spend an entire life attempting to come to a decision via meditation precisely what God's observe tells us already! and that they in many cases in no way discover it!" I felt unhappy for them. So, between that, and what you pronounced on your question, it leads me to ask your self whether you haven't any longer truthfully understood God the two, and sense the could desire to look able which will probable no longer provide you the solutions. yet do what you could desire to do. according to possibility the reflection will provide help to quiet your self long adequate to pay attention God's voice by way of His observe, because it became into there all alongside. :)
