Feng shui is not religion.
It is the study of nature and placement of furniture.

I am a certified Feng Shui Practitioner black hat sec.
I went to a school for training at a time that there was much turmoil and doubt in my life. I am a strong Christian and had many questions and was leary of this, but as an interior decorator having clients that were interested I ventured out to learn and find out more about this.
Being religious in my own right I was affraid of the contradictions to my faith but quickly learned that there are none. As practitioners before practicing a cure for someone we pray to a higher power. Each person learning there went differenly. My highest power is God and the Holy Trinity and there is where my prayers went. Feng Shui is not just about placement it is about intent. You cannot just wake up and say I am putting this here and painting this red so that I can have something improve. It is about doing things with prayer for the betterment of your enviorment. They do smuggings to clear the air of evil and in many religions the burning of insence and blessing of houses and business are practiced often. As far as what the differnt cures are I found as a decorator it was more common sence than anything. Clearing clutter and simplifying. Harmonizing color and making a stament of power.
If you decide to use Feng Shui in your life make sure you read and do research or seek out a certified practitioner. If you read and want to try the methods on your own remember that all cures must be done in faith and with prayer. Remember that you can reclaim your home as a sacred space.

Feng Shui is an Ancient Science, NOT a religion, so it should have no conflict with Christianity or any religion. There are many Feng Shui objects available to use that are not Buddhist images or statues for those sensitive to the religion issue.

RE:
Is Feng Shui against Christianity?
I recently found out about Feng Shui, and was wondering if it was ok to go by it's principles about how color affects mood, etc. Is it ok, if I'm a Christian? Like, it's not crossing into buddhism or anything is it?
Thanks!

Feng shui is not against your God. It can really help with the energy of the room and give it a nice refreshing feeling. Even if you don't believe in the spiritual aspects of it, it still can be relaxing and it looks nice.

Believing in Feng Shui is unscriptural, because you are depending on Feng Shui to bring you luck, blessing, prosperity and rather on depending on God's will, providence and provision.
The bible says we cannot serve two masters, either we will love one and hate the other. Likewise for Feng Shui and our faith in Jesus. (Matt 6.24)
I was brought up in a paganistic enviroment with a relative next door who open a Guan Shih Yin temple in Simei road, Singapore many years ago and is well aware of the occult.
Believe it or not, I have seen a seduction spirit emerging from a feng shui crystal which suppose to attract romance!!!

I am a devout Christian. I started using Feng Shui after my Mother passed away and noticed all of a sudden I was looking for 3 legged toads, crystals, dragons and few other resources. It all started with rearranging my furniture. I suddenly realized I was looking into other forms of protection and ways to prosper and found I was turning my back on God and seeking other resources to sustain me. I repented packed up all the Feng Shui artifacts and removed them. Repented again and claimed the blood of Jesus over me and my life.I serve and depend on God in Heaven the creator and Master of the Universe to save me, protect me and to prosper my home. in Jesus name Amen

Practicing Feng Shui to bring you fortune, health, and romance is putting your faith in and trusting a "power" that is not of God. A Christian can rest assured that The Lord can do anything. His power cannot not thwarted by blocked "chi" or the lack of a good headboard!

No, it is not good for Christians. Feng Shui is about arranging and rearranging things, adding statues and some rocks to attract good luck or fortune into your home or work premise. This means, you are not relying on Jehovah God but on material things to bring you good fortune. If you rely too much on such things, you would gradually forget about God and start worshiping Feng Shui instead. So, be careful.
