last time i looked it up many many years ago the chemicals that make up the human body came to about 23 dollars and some odd cents.

its been suggested that if you paid someone for a kidney though it might fetch 90,000 dollars.

the insurance companies are figuring: "For the recipient of a living, unrelated donor kidney transplant, the estimated medical expense for 20 years following transplant is $277,600."

course if you look at the way we treat each other, if its dropping bombs, shooting each other, or just walking past a homeless man pretending he is invisible. i would say its worth about nothing.

I like my body. But I would have to say Antonella Barba's body is probably worth more than mine. She could sell naked photos of herself for thousands of dollars, whereas my naked pics would probably get returned to sender.

Kidneys are worth a good penny, and I hear they go well with some fave beans and a nice Chianti. FFFTTTT!!!

I suppose that would be funny if someone tried to sell their body on Ebay. Someone already tried selling their soul on Ebay, but some buzzkill 'administrator' took the auction down.

The Human Body is so important (even though it got messed up through Adam) that GOD Almighty is agonna dig that thing back up, WHERE EVER the Molecules are, and PUT it BACK TOGETHER AGAIN, just for us (you to?--are ya Saved?) when The Time Comes!!!

In a Twinkling of an Eye!!
Hope this helps!

Well, you can get $10,000 for a kidney these days (unless you live in India), so do the math. *Inherent worth*? *Special*? From what? Every other creature? Not really, it's a piece of meat, it rots and disappears. Unless you're a mummy.

When I was a kid, a bunch of chemists averaged out all the basic components that were in the human body and figured you could buy all the stuff in it for about 98 cents.

Adjusted for inflation, it's probably worth about 5 bucks now.

The body itself is just a vessel to get us through this life. I guess you could assign it a bit of worth, but in the long run its just a pile of bones

Dunno...if you're donating your kidney to someone who needs one, your body may be considered priceless by that person. Same for donating blood, or plasma. Your body is what you make of it, so take good care of it while you got it =)

It's just a bunch of "stuff" that breaks down and dies like an American made automobile.
