BMI is not an accurate thing to go by for fitness.

If you was 6'0" and 230lbs of muscle, according to the BMI you would be obese.

Do not follow the BMI.

A BMI of 26 is pretty close to healthy. You should probably drop a few pounds, perhaps get to about 153, but you're not badly off. I would consult this website: http://www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/dnpa/bmi/
because it also matters if you're a teenager or not. You can lose a few pounds through walking once a day for about 30 minutes, plus cutting a little food and perhaps lifting some weights. For best health, eat five servings a day of fruits and vegetables and get some daily exercise.

well if you really want to, just go jogging, its very good for you, can rlieve stress and also strengthen muscles and burn fat. another good excersise i have learned tah is very good for abs and thighs is follows

first get an excersise ball. ( a smaller one is preferred)
lay flat on the floor and place the bal, in between your legs by your ankles and calfs.

using your abs and thigs keep flat on teh floor and lift your legs up and using only your legs transfer the ball to your hands.

then do the same thing backwards. keep flat on the floor and transfer the ball to your legs again while your legs are still up in the air.

repeat in sets of three and so about 18 per session..

these are really hard but they work fast.

i dont personally beleive those chrats and masurement and such.

im 5'6 too but they always say im underweight! im not im rpobably normal. i weigh 104. im not super skinny so i dont get it.. i dont trust those things but do those excersies if youre looking to lose weight anyways.

Samantha, I'm a life-long dieter, and the most successful and healthiest diet I used in called, "Fit for Life." If you decide to use this book, read it all the way to the recipes before you try it.
