player and just hear the sound? I am getting very desperate here. I have to give these DVD's back tomorrow and I have not been able to see them at all. Life was so much easier before all of this damn electronic stuff! Just a tape of it would be fine with me. Geesh...

I have a TV, but not the adapter. There is no 24 WalMart here. I don't have a sterio anymore. I do have a radio and some sort of Digital recorder that I just got a day ago to tape the sound from this thing.

Yes. Connect the "audio out" of the DVD player to any "audio in" on a stereo, or any type of amplification device. If your computer doesn't play DVDs you can, with the proper cable, connect the "audio out" of the DVD player to the "line in" or "mic" jack on your computer and listen to it that way. If you don't have the cable you can still go to a 24 hr. Wal-Mart and get what you need. You will need spcifically:

1 audio cable with RCA plugs on each end.
1 Stereo RCA to mini plug adapter (which goes on one end of your cable above. This is the end that will plug into your computer's "mic" input.

Good luck.

Yes, but you would need to run it through some kind of receiver/sound system. I am guessing if you don't have a t.v. on hand, that you won't have that either. Obviously, if your computer has a dvd drive you could use that.

nope, you can't play it without a tv... because the player should be connected to the tv so that audio and video would work. if you don't have a tv, you can use a computer with dvd rom...
